Special Occasion clothes refer to clothes worn on occasions such as Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Communion Day, the first day of school even. Some of them have special colors that will tell you that the dress or suit you are buying could be worn on a special day, for example, a red glittery dress will be good for a Christmas party, while a yellow puffy one could go for Easter. Some of them will just be more formal and have elements that will tell the people of the special event you are attending: ivory or white dress for the First Communion or a costume for a Halloween party. Easter is a very colorful holiday and since it’s in springtime we tend to celebrate it by wearing bright colors and even special clothes. Girls could wear special dresses with bunnies on them, or even beautiful ones with tulle and lace while going egg hunting or attending Church, while boys could dress more formally in suits and shirts. Depending on your family’s tradition for Easter, you could find something to wear here.

Some might consider being offensive to wear orange on St. Patrick’s day because orange is associated with Protestants and St. Patrick is seen as a Catholic celebration.
